The 2019-20 Annual Fund

For more than 30 years, the generous support of staff, families, alumni, and friends has sustained our mission, providing funds for many aspects of student success.  These include tuition assistance, student support services, safety and security initiatives, technology upgrades, facility renovations and expansions, and professional development for teachers and administrators.  MGCS partners with parents to establish foundations for learning and faith essential to a lifetime of academic success and spiritual growth. We strategically budget to cover salaries, academic programming and basic facility maintenance.  While tuition and fees cover our annual budget, they do not cover the entire cost of an MGCS education.  This year, we need $150,000 to close that gap.

Your tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund:
  • Helps a family in need to join or remain a part of our school family, keeps friends together, and secures a spot for future students.
  • Supports the purchase of two activity vans for field trips and athletic events.
  • Finishes and furnishes our Outdoor Learning Village.
Every gift moves us closer to our $150,000 full funding goal for these critical initiatives.
You may mail your check to us at 806 Piner Road, Wilmington, NC 28409 or make your gift online by clicking here.

Sponsorships

One way to support our Annual Fund initiatives is to partner with us as an event sponsor.  Opportunities are available for our annual Spring Fling event on Thursday, March 5, 2020 and our Warrior Classic Golf Tournament on Monday, May 11, 2020.  To learn more, contact Allison Kyff at akyff@ mgcs.org

The Outdoor Learning Village Campaign

The Outdoor Learning Village (OLV) will be an expansive and dynamic teaching center built within our wooded 10 acre Outdoor Learning Environment adjacent to the main campus. This two-story structure will serve as the hub for outdoor instruction, hands-on experimentation, STEM activities as well as the setting for spiritual, academic and community activities.  We plan to begin construction in January of 2020. You can support this project two ways...

Buy a Brick
Make your mark on this innovative addition to our campus by purchasing a commemorative brick.  Your personalized engraved brick will be permanently installed to form a border around the ground floor and entrance to the OLV.  Remember a loved one, honor a former or current student, share a Bible verse or message, or show your support by simply putting your family's name on your brick.

Make a Gift
Support the OLV project with a gift in any amount by sending a check to Myrtle Grove Christian School - OLV Project 806 Piner Road, Wilmington, NC 28409 or by making a gift online here.
